Thai Furniture Industry Club has been founded for 32 years. We have played a vital role in many successful business activities. For instance, we have cooperated with the government sector in addressing problems, accelerating the problem solving, and suggesting solutions. We have set up a principle project to develop a network of wooden furniture and home furniture industrial operators called Industrial Cluster Development Program within Bangkok and metropolitan area. This program aims for the operators who offer manufacturing services or those trying to build up their own brands to have a closely-linked business group with all-inclusive activities of manufacturing and marketing of the products from the beginning to the end. Furthermore, we have been in close cooperation with the Department of Export Promotion in educating and training our members on modern management and production technology, organizing exhibition shows to expand Thai furniture export market, delegating Thai business representatives to join ASEAN Furniture Industrial Council Meeting, to strengthen the relationship with other representatives from various countries in ASEAN. In addition, we also engage in many social responsibility activities. |
